This 2-hour workshop is designed to help you feel strong, confident, and informed as you prepare for labor. Through breath, movement, and evidence-based guidance, you’ll learn how to support your body and mind through each stage of the birthing process.
We’ll begin with a gentle movement flow to build awareness of your breath, pelvic floor, and body mechanics. From there, we’ll dive into practical tools and knowledge to support your birth—whether you’re planning an unmedicated labor, an epidural, or something in between.
You’ll learn:
- How to set birth expectations and communicate with your provider
- Daily movement practices to prepare your body for birth
- Breath and body strategies to navigate each stage of labor
- Positions and movement to support labor progress and reduce the risk of tearing or pelvic floor trauma
- The power of mind-body connection in easing labor intensity and staying grounded
- How to make informed, empowered decisions throughout the birth experience
This workshop is recommended in the third trimester, but all pregnant students are welcome. It is offered every 2–3 months.
These workshops are for pregnant students only. As always, please get clearance from your provider before beginning prenatal movement.
